Arrival and Departure Policy

All times are Africa/Maputo local time.

Check-in

• Check-in is from 14:00 on your arrival day.
• Arrival instructions (directions, access details and local emergency contacts) are released securely to your guest account and email closer to your stay, once your booking is confirmed, fully paid and verified. They are personal to your booking — please do not share them outside your party.
• Tell us your expected arrival time via stay@gineysview.com or WhatsApp +27 61 930 1924 so our team can meet you.
• Early check-in (R500) can be requested in advance. It is subject to approval and same-day availability and is only charged when approved and provided.

What we need before arrival

• Full payment of the accommodation balance (due 14 days before arrival) and the breakage deposit.
• Names of all overnight guests (maximum 8 per Unit) and vehicle count (maximum 2 per Unit).
• Any identity documents required for local guest registration, handled under the Privacy Notice.

During your stay

Mid-stay cleaning is available as an optional service at R400 per service — book it with our team at least a day ahead.

Checkout

• Checkout is by 10:00 on your departure day.
• Late checkout (R500) can be requested and is subject to approval and same-day availability; unapproved late departure may be charged the late checkout fee and, where it disrupts an incoming booking, further reasonable costs.
• Please leave the Unit reasonably tidy, close windows, return access devices and report any breakages. There is no mandatory departure-cleaning fee.

After departure

The Unit is inspected after checkout; your R2,000 breakage deposit is refunded under the Payment and Breakage Deposit Policy — in full within 2–3 business days of a clear inspection, or with an itemised deduction statement.

No-shows

If you do not arrive on your check-in day and we cannot reach you, the booking is treated as a no-show under the Cancellation and Refund Policy (no accommodation refund; breakage deposit and unused services refunded).
