Accommodation and House Rules

These rules protect every guest's holiday, the property and our neighbours. They form part of your booking terms; the lead guest is responsible for the whole party's compliance.

Occupancy and guests

• Maximum 8 overnight guests per Unit, including children.
• The lead guest must be 18 or older and present during the stay.
• Only registered overnight guests may stay overnight.
• Day visitors require our prior approval and must leave by 22:00.
• Maximum 2 vehicles per Unit, parked only in the designated areas.

Respect for others

• Quiet hours are 22:00–07:00. Keep noise reasonable at all times.
• No parties or events of any kind without our explicit prior written approval.
• No smoking inside the Units. Please use outdoor areas away from doors and windows and dispose of butts safely.
• No pets.

Safety

• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially at the pool, on stairs and balconies, and on the beach. The pool is not fenced and has no lifeguard — swimming is at your own risk.
• Follow the Child and Infant Safety Policy for cots, stair and balcony safety.
• The beach and sea carry natural risks (tides, currents, marine life). Swim sober and never alone at night.
• No open flames indoors; braai/barbecue only in the designated areas and never left unattended.

Care of the Unit

• Use water, electricity and Wi-Fi responsibly — Vilanculos infrastructure is limited and outages beyond our control can occur.
• Report any damage or breakage promptly to our team. Honest reporting is always treated more favourably than discovered damage.
• Do not move heavy furniture or remove Unit items to the beach.
• Leave the Unit in a reasonably tidy state at checkout; there is no mandatory departure-cleaning fee, and we would like to keep it that way.

Security and access

• Lock doors and windows when leaving the Unit and overnight.
• Do not share gate/door access codes or arrival instructions with anyone outside your party.
• Access devices or keys lost during the stay are charged at replacement cost.

Serious breaches

Unauthorised parties, exceeding overnight occupancy, endangering others or wilful damage entitle us to end the stay immediately. In that case no accommodation refund is due, and damage costs may be deducted from the breakage deposit or charged where costs exceed it.
